People think building a photography studio taught People think building a photography studio taught me business.

It didn’t.

It taught me women.

Women surviving divorce while still showing up beautifully.
Women rebuilding after betrayal.
Women learning to love bodies changed by motherhood, grief, illness, stress, survival, age, life.
Women celebrating anniversaries, healing after heartbreak, becoming mothers after years of trying.

And somewhere between building sets, adjusting light, designing albums, and listening to these stories… I was rebuilding too.

This career shaped me far beyond photography.

Because when you spend over a decade witnessing women choose themselves again and again, it changes the way you see life.

That’s why this will never feel like “just photos” to me.

It’s legacy.
It’s storytelling.
It’s proof that a woman existed in all her complexity and beauty during this chapter of her life.

Being trusted with that still humbles me.
Meet Jamie 🤍 She came in to honour her changing b Meet Jamie 🤍

She came in to honour her changing body instead of fighting against it.

As a massage therapist, Jamie spends her days helping other people reconnect with themselves… but this experience was about giving that same compassion back to herself.

During her interview, she shared a message I think more women need to hear:

You do not need to wait until you “fix” yourself to deserve beautiful photographs.

You are allowed to celebrate yourself now.

She chose to preserve this chapter with custom wall art and a luxury album as a reminder that confidence is not perfection, it’s self acceptance without judgment.

My DMs are open for you.

Tell me YOUR story 💋
Jamie did this shoot because her body changed… and Jamie did this shoot because her body changed… and instead of punishing herself for it, she decided to celebrate herself anyway.

Revolutionary concept, I know. 😌

During her interview we talked a lot about how women are constantly taught to delay their confidence.

Lose the weight first.
Tone up first.
Fix this first.
Hide that first.

Meanwhile life is literally happening RIGHT NOW.

As a massage therapist, Jamie spends her days helping other people feel good in their bodies, but somewhere along the way she realized she deserved some of that softness too.

Not five years from now.
Not after becoming “perfect.”
Now.

And let me tell you something… the woman who walks into the studio nervous is never the same woman sitting in the reveal room staring at herself on the big screen going:
“Wait… THAT’S me?”

She chose wall art and an album because this wasn’t just a photoshoot for her. It was proof.

Proof that women deserve to exist in photographs during every season of life.
Proof that confidence is built, not magically granted once you hit some imaginary goal weight.
Proof that maybe we’d all heal a little faster if we stopped talking to ourselves like enemies.

If you’re waiting to feel ready, you’ll be waiting forever.
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not ne You do not need to know how to pose.
You do not need to lose 10 pounds first.
And you definitely do not need to become a different woman before doing this.

That’s my job.

You walk in, get glammed up, take a deep breath, and I guide you through every single second of the experience.

Then comes the part nobody expects…

Seeing yourself on the big screen and realizing:
“Wait… THAT’S me?”

Not your filtered self.
Not the version shrinking herself for everyone else.
You.

And then it becomes art.

An album on your coffee table.
A canvas on your wall.
Something that reminds you every day that you were never as “not enough” as you thought you were.

I only photograph 10 women a month because this experience is deeply personalized and intentionally not mass-produced.

If you’ve been thinking about doing this, this is your sign 💫

She literally screamed, “I feel so beautiful!!!!” She literally screamed, “I feel so beautiful!!!!” when I showed her the photos during her session.

Rosa came in looking to give an anniversary & valentine’s gift to her boyfriend but during the shoot she realized, while it’s beautiful to be able to share this with him, this shoot was actually more about her.

She brought her mom to support her during the session and we had a blast! I threw her mom in the hair and makeup chair and we created a gorgeous wall art series of mother-daughter portraits as the second part of the shoot.

I love these Italian women! They’re the absolute best and honestly meeting them felt like I’m just hanging with family! 💞

Once gone, it’s gone.
Your confidence is not something I give you. And Your confidence is not something I give you.

And it’s not something I chase you for.

Because the moment I start carrying your outcome…
this stops working the way it’s meant to.

What I do is create the space.
Guide you.
Reflect back what’s already there.

But you have to step into it.

That’s why this experience hits different.

It’s not a photoshoot.
It’s the moment you finally see yourself… and believe it.

If it’s been on your mind, you already feel it.

She made it here for her 50th birthday but she fir She made it here for her 50th birthday but she first contacted me to celebrate her 40s. It took her almost a decade to take the leap. If you keep waiting, you’ll never know the what if and lots of life will keep happening in between.

There’s a reason every single woman who picks up her artwork exclaims: JUST DO IT! ✅

If you don’t believe me, believe them.

I’m not for everyone except for those who WANT to see the top shelf version of themselves.

I’m for the woman who doesn’t settle. Who knows her worth. Who knows she deserves more than breadcrumbs. Who owns her spirit and who doesn’t let anyone else take over her life.

I’m the photographer for the woman who is tired of being told only a certain version of her is acceptable. A woman who isn’t afraid of being too much. I’m for the woman who trusts herself and trust the process.

What kind of a woman are you?
Being able to photograph my parents this cherry bl Being able to photograph my parents this cherry blossom season is the best start of spring I could’ve asked for 💕

For those who don’t know, I moved to Canada for boarding school when I was only 17 and due to my stance on women’s rights and freedom of belief, I have not been able to return to Pakistan (my home country) safely and due to this, in the last almost 20 years I only got to see my parents 5 times for very short periods. They now have made Canada their home as of April and I’m so grateful that I get to make up for the lost time.

I got my passion for photography from my parents. My dad loves taking artistic pictures and my mom was notorious for making sure that we headed to a professional studio at least once a year as a family to take photos that would document us growing up.

I love photographing my parents whenever I can. It’s not lost on my that most kids will eventually experience the loss of the people who raised them and I want to make sure that my daughter, siblings, and I have something beautiful to look back at.

These two love natural beauty and this is the first time they’re here for the cherry blossom season. They were so happy to see the blooms in Toronto! I feel privileged that I get to document this experience for them 💜

This is the safest space for you to enter and mark your baddie era and I cannot wait to meet you!
In my 12 years as a boudoir artist… I’ve learned t In my 12 years as a boudoir artist… I’ve learned this:

The photos are never really the issue.

It’s the moment you’re asked to let go.
To stop overthinking.
To trust something other than control.

Because most women don’t struggle with being seen…

They struggle with allowing it.

The ones who get the most out of this experience?

They don’t try to direct every second.
They don’t wait until they feel “ready.”

They step into it anyway.

As mother Madonna said:
“Don’t just stand there… let’s get to it.
Strike a pose—there’s nothing to it. ✨”

And suddenly, the version of you you’ve been chasing?

She was there the whole time.
