ONCE YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR PHOTO SHOOT YOU’LL WALK IN THE STUDIO WE WOULD LOVE TO PLAY THE MUSIC YOU LIKE. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU’RE 100% COMFORTABLE WHILE YOU’RE HERE AT THE STUDIO.

when will i receive my final portrait order?
You will receive your final order in 4 – 6 weeks. If you have a specific date that you need your photos by let us know ahead of time and we can make that happen for you.
preshoot preparation
Once you book your shoot you’ll receive our welcome email. In our welcome email we’ll share with you tips for preparing for your photo shoot. It’s all optional and super easy stuff like, “drink more water, arrive with a clean face for makeup application, etc.” This will help us to tailor your photoshoot to be the photoshoot of your dreams. We also LOVE when our clients share images that they love! If you have time, create a Pinterest board and pin some photos that you’re drawn to. Once you’re done you can send us the link to your board! If you don’t have time, no worries at all. I’m an expert and we will create a fun and memorable experience.
once you arrive for your photo shoot you’ll walk in the studio and notice you love the music playing. that’s because in the questionnaire we ask you who your favorite artists are and we use pandora to create a unique music station just for you during your shoot! we want to make sure you’re 100% comfortable while you’re here at the studio.
We’ll also go through the outfits you brought once you arrive and help you narrow them down if need be. In addition we’ll also help you with any wardrobe questions and let you add any accessories or outfits from our collection as well. Once you’re all settled in we’ll show you to hair/makeup. Our pro artist will chat with you about the exact look you’re wanting. If you you want to leave it 100% up to the artist too that’s fine by us, whatever you love best. If you’re worried about the potential for us to not get the look you’re going for right, let me just tell you there’s no need to worry.
During the hair/makeup process our pro artists will ask you how you’re liking things along the way. They’ll make sure it’s not too dramatic or not to natural depending on the look you’re going for. We can always change things along the way and we promise when we’re done you’ll love the look 100%. Once it’s time for the shoot we’ll ask you which outfit you’re the most comfortable in, that’s the outfit we’ll start with. We want to make sure you’re comfortable 100% of the time you’re at our studio. The most important thing to know is that you should not be worrying about posing or facial expressions at all! That’s our job and we know just how to coach you through it in a super easy way.
We’ll start off with the simplest pose and coach you on exactly where to look, how to smile, etc. You’ll never wonder, “where should my hand be, does my face look good, or am I doing this right?” We’re super clear on exactly what to do and we’ll even show you photos along the way so you can be confident in knowing how amazing you look! Once we’ve gone through all the outfits and different sets we want to shoot with it’s time for us to shortlist your gorgeous photos and for you to take a little relaxing break. During the 60 minute break following your shoot you are invited to hang at the studio, leave to run errands, grab a bite to eat, get coffee, anything at all.
After you arrive back after the 60 min break we’ll be ready to view your gorgeous photos! Being able to view them the same day is so amazing! You won’t need to wonder for a week if your photos were good or not, you’ll be confident in knowing right away how amazing you look!
Isn’t it awesome that you’ll get to view and order your favourite photos the same day as your shoot? Our clients love that they don’t have to wait to see their gorgeous photos! We’ll show you to our viewing room where you’ll have a cozy seat to sit in and we’ll have snacks on the table.
First we’ll start out with a slideshow of your portraits so you can just sit back and enjoy them. Once we’ve reviewed them all via the slideshow we’ll go through and narrow them down to your favourites. Our clients always joke that they don’t know how they’re going to choose because they love them all! We think that’s a good problem to have but we want to assure you that we’ll totally help you narrow them down to your favourites.
Once we’ve narrowed them down we’ll figure out if you’d rather order your photos in a premium reveal box or in a black album. Our albums are very popular for boudoir! We also have wall canvases that are perfect to hang in the bedroom, in the walk in closet, in your master bath, in his workshop, etc. Most of our clients get their photos in an album along with one or more wall canvases to display privately.

Privacy Policy
Once you arrive for your photo shoot we’ll have you sign our short contract. We give you plenty of time to read this over and answer any questions you may have.
It’s all super straight forward and to sum it up we need it so that we can do your hair, your makeup, and take your pictures.
This does not mean that we will be sharing your photos. We want you to know that you have 100% control over whether or not you allow us to share your photos online.
If you choose to let us share your photos on facebook so other ladies can see how empowering and amazing this experience is, then thank you!
If you choose to keep your photos 100% private for yourself or your partner, that’s 100% ok too! Whatever it is, the choice is yours and we’ll always respect your wishes.
Price to Book Your Shoot
To book your boudoir photo shoot with Dream Boudoir Toronto we require up front a $475 non-refundable session fee. This fee will cover studio reservation and your pro hair/makeup artist plus time photographing. We only photograph one session at a time and do not double book to ensure you get the best service and quality.
Please note that your session fee does not include any photographs or print products. These must be purchased separately after the shoot during your Design Session.

Q: I’m not a lingerie type girl. Can I still do boudoir?
A: Absolutely! Lingerie is not the only way to look and feel sexy. You can do a boudoir shoot wearing a dress, robe, button-up, etc. Let us know if you are interested in a more in-depth wardrobe consult and refer to the style guide we will send you after your booking.
Q: I’m not sure I feel comfortable spending money on myself.
A: I totally understand. That’s why we offer payment plans to make a boudoir portrait experience manageable for any budget. This is an experience that you will cherish for your lifetime and you’ll be able to look back at your pictures and cherish the memories and experience for years to come.
Q: What if I don’t like my pictures?
A: After photographing women for over eight years, I’m confident that you will be thrilled with the finished product. However, if for any reason you’re unsatisfied you may opt out of purchasing your photos.
Q: Can I bring someone with me to the shoot?
A: You are welcome to bring a girl friend! We ask that you inform us of the guest before the shoot, and please limit to one person as we have limited shooting space. They may wait in the waiting room during your session.
Q: I don’t think I can afford this.
